FEES

Pop-in Nanny Share fees are as follows:

  1. Community Rate

Pop-In Nanny Share’s Community Rate will be $20 per child, per hour.  This is the default rate which are families are billed at.

  1. Solidarity Rates

Pop-In Nanny Share is a community-minded small business that offers a high-quality form of childcare to all.  To help our community grow and achieve this goal, some families elect to take up our Solidarity Rates.  These rates are entirely voluntary, and based on an honesty system; families can elect to that them up (or go off them) as their circumstances allow.  They offer families who believe in what we stand for the opportunity to show solidarity and make an additional contribution, if they can afford it, to the expansion of the Pop-In community to be made available to everyone, regardless of their background or income.  Solidarity Rates are as follows:

For families on a total/combined income of $150,000+ per year:  $22 per hour
For families on a total/combined income of $250,000+ per year:  $24 per hour
For families on a total/combined income of $350,000+ per year:  $25 per hour

You will receive invoices weekly and as we are a small business, we do appreciate prompt payments. If you anticipate any issues that might prevent you from paying your invoices on time please get in touch with Eli, Pop-In’s Administratior, at eliana@elianaschoulal.com

CANCELLATIONS

We appreciate as much notice as possible if you need to cancel your booked session. If a session is cancelled with less than 12 hours notice a $30 cancellation fee will be charged to your next invoice.

SUNSMART

We follow the Australian Sun Smart guidelines for early childhood education and care providers. During days where the UV levels are forecast to reach 3 or higher we use sun protection measures for all children and adults while outside. This includes wearing a broad brim hat, applying sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 and seeking shade when necessary. You can read more about this policy and how it relates to learning and development here: http://www.sunsmart.com.au/downloads/communities/early-childhood-primary-school/ec-sample-sunsmart-policy.pdf

OUTINGS AND COMMUNITY

Where possible, your Nanny will take your child on local outings that will suit the developmental needs of the group. When this occurs, you will be informed either in person at drop off or via text message later in the day. Occasionally, your Nanny may plan adventures for the group further afield such as a trip to the Museum or the Zoo. For these trips, you will be given at least 24 hours notice and a schedule for the day which includes details about transport, arrival and departure times and contact phone numbers.

CASUAL VACANCIES

Every week we email our families with a list of vacancies for casual bookings. We understand that sometimes families need an extra hour or two throughout the week and we are happy to accomodate you when we can. Please keep an eye out for these emails and let us know if you need a spot as soon as possible – these spots fill up fast!

COMPLAINTS

All feedback is taken seriously and is important to us. In case of an issue arising, we encourage you to communicate directly with the person working with your child. Periodic anonymous surveys will be offered. We welcome your feedback and suggestions.
